Downtownlakeorion

“Lake Orion” is often used to describe both the village and the much larger Orion Township, of which the village is a part, as well as the 482 acre inland lake, on which there are several islands. Downtown Lake Orion, a designated National Historic District, is a destination for numerous annual events, with nearby services, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. With four parks and two trails (with a combined distance of over 23 miles), there are plenty of outdoor activity opportunities. Lake Orion has 4 neighborhood elementary schools, 3 focus elementary schools and 3 middle schools – all Blue Ribbon Exemplary Schools.
